We were coming back to Bologna for one more night before our flight and decided to stay at Carlo’s B&B.
Everything is modern, there is free wifi and it is like staying with a favorite uncle.
We went out for dinner to an excellent restaurant he suggested and when we returned the apartment smelled great.
He had baked an apple cake for our breakfast!
What a lovely experience—it made our trip.

A warm welcome - a home away from home - clean and comfortable with a friendly and helpful host, who went to no end of trouble to make my stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Our 'landlord' was very good, and we felt more secure in a private dwelling than in a larger hotel.

ABC a Bologna is in a great location. You can easily walk to the city center. The owner helped us get a cab for a very early pickup, and he had a delicious breakfast ready for us at 4:15AM! Definitely a great place to stay, I think we just hit Bologna at a bad time - the porcelain trade fair was in town.

They need to mark the front a bit better. You get to a call box and there is no "ABC a Bologna" - the small sign says something to the effect of A B&B. Very confusing. Also I felt like 150 Euros a night was a bit much, but like I said above - it was basically the only room we could get in town b/c of the trade fair so this is potentially why it was expensive. All in all a very nice experience!

Very nice, well decorated room with a comfortable bed, excellent shower, good breakfasts with homemade cake and very kind host. Highly recommended.

Ho trovato un ambiente casalingo e molto accogliente, ottima la colazione e poi molto comoda la posizione, 5 minuti a piedi per arrivare in stazione.

We didn't have any problems at all. The man who lived in the apartment was very kind and hospitable
